Roles and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced architect to join our team and help the Global CISO define and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity data vision. The objective is to obtain information from various data sources to assess the posture of ING's cybersecurity and progress on security improvement activities.
This role involves defining our data model, designing our data architecture, and guiding the development of our security data & reporting platforms:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data model that aligns with the CISO data vision.
- Design and implement data architecture and data & reporting platforms.
- Ensure data architecture aligns with ING's overall technology strategy and standards.
- Conduct assessments, proof-of-concepts, and provide solution options for data-related initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including IT, finance, security, risk, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure data solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and facilitate architectural activities to ensure the quality and integrity of data solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and security.
How to Succeed:
- Proven experience in the role of an architect or similar function in a complex IT environment.
- Strong background in data modelling, data architecture, and data platform design.
- Knowledge of various architectural patterns, including Domain Driven Design.
- Knowledge of data modelling methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT processes, SDLC, and data security best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with public cloud platforms and regulated industries, especially banking or finance, is a plus.
