Porsche Engineering Romania is looking for a highly skilled Team Leader for AUTOSAR to join our team in Romania, Timișoara location. In this role, your mission is to lead, mentor and elevate team’s technical competence, ensuring high-quality delivery in alignment with project goals and customer requirements by coordinating medium to large size teams in area ofBasic Software activities (AUTOSAR configuration, Complex Device Drivers development), Application Software integration with Basic Software on various platforms, host and target hardware integration and test pipelines.
- Drive technical excellence by mentoring AUTOSAR teams and steer high-impact delivery aligned with strategic goals and customer expectations;
- Drive process improvements, automation in CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge-sharing sessions;
- Is responsible with manpower estimation, work planning/ forecast and effective utilization of manpower within the team;
- Support performance reviews, individual development plans, and training needs by defining and supporting competency development of team members;
- Organize and conduct technical one-on-one discussions with team members, manage conflict and facilitate team interaction;
- Nurture bussines opportunity in order to get new projects for the team;
- Work autonomously with the team and is responsible to ensure the information flow in all directions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering or any other relevant Engineering related field;
- Over 5 years hands-on experience in automotive embedded software development;
- Good knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic Platform);
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Jira, and debugging tools (Lauterbach, CANoe);
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR configuration tools (Vector DaVinci);
- Previous experience in people and technical coordination;
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, combined with a strong commitment and proactive approach to delivering high-quality engineering solutions;
- Fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage;
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and abroad, as required.
