Techno Force was started in 1990 to manufacture proprietary equipment for chemical process industry. Today it is active in the field of evaporation, high vacuum distillation, drying and liquid - liquid extraction. It has about 130 employees, own facilities for pilot scale testing intended for application development, process design, mechanical design and equipment manufacturing over an area of 15,000 square meters. It supplies individual equipment as well as complete skid mounted units including peripheral equipment, controls and instruments.
Our current product portfolio embraces advanced separation equipment like Evaporators, Dryers and high vacuum Short Path Distillation Units based on Thin-Film Technology, rotational Liquid-Liquid/Gas-Liquid Extractors, Strippers and Crystallizers.
Techno Force has a strong R&D base with a research team with doctorate qualifications and having experience using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation tools for development of proprietary designs. R&D investments are being made in the areas of crystallization, waste water treatment, energy recovery and reaction engineering.
Techno Force is known in industry for developing and demonstrating innovative solutions to improve processes for the customers from pharmaceutical, fine chemical, polymer, agro chemical, food and general chemical industry. The shops are certified for manufacturing under PED, ASME and China Special Equipment License norms.
In close cooperation with customers, TFS develops tailor made solutions starting from lab scale studies, pilot plant trials & analysis, scale-up, mechanical and process design, equipment manufacturing & testing, project execution, erection, commissioning and after sales services.
The pilot scale testing and demonstration facility (pilot plants) in India carries about 150 tests every year for various applications. Since it is not convenient for European customers to send chemicals and be present during trials in India, it was decided to establish a pilot plant testing facility at the Chemelot Campus in Geleen, The Netherlands. The European Pilot Plant facility will be equipped with initially 6 (Q1/Q2-2013) different setups for scale-up studies and a dedicated supportive analysis laboratory.
