Your MINDSET:

- A responsible cashier who ensures the daily cash received is reconciled accurately, the petty cash payments are issued properly and who performs the float count precisely;
- An income auditor who prepares the daily revenue reconciliation, audits of outlet cover information and processes entertainment checks;
- A pro-active colleague who loves to take on challenges.
What does the ROLE entail?
- Processing invoices: collecting backup and purchase orders, coding and scanning invoices, verifying payment proposals, ensuring suppliers are paid timely, responding to supplier inquiries;
- Cashiering: daily reconciling cash received, cash counting, preparing bank deposits, issuing petty cash payments, preparing daily general cashier report / journal, preparing petty cash journal and performing monthly float counts. Identifying cash needs of the hotel and ordering cash on the website of the cash handling service company;
- Income Audit: preparing daily revenue and payment reconciliation, auditing outlet cover information, processing entertainment checks, performing spot checks;
- Commission handling: controlling commission batches in Onyx, approving / signing and sending approval batch to Onyx, and handling travel agent inquiries;
- Reconciling Gift Voucher-, Petty Cash, Over & Short, Tip, and Due Back accounts;
- Ensuring all historical information is filed in a way that provides easy access;
- Following up with other hotel staff on invoices pending for approval in DMS;
- Assisting with month-end closing process by preparing accruals and journals;
- Providing internal and external audits with required documents.
