YOUR ROLE
Are you ready to ensure the smooth logistical operation of one of the largest and most automated distribution centers in the Netherlands. Strong in organizing and experienced in leading a team of professionals? Apply now!
As a Team Lead Control Room, you are the support and anchor for the logistics operation. The control room informs the logistics operation and provides guidance where necessary. Together with your team, you ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly at the SQDP level.
The team monitors everything closely and provides advice at the right moment. You ensure optimal utilization of the highly automated mechanical processes to achieve maximum efficiency of the machines and prevent disruptions.
You take into account customer preferences, employee deployment, the required training of employees, machine capacity, and other important tasks. You set priorities and ensure (re)direction throughout the day.
As a Team Lead Control Room, you are responsible for a team of 7 employees, including process control room specialists, operational controlroom specialists, equipment control room specialists and IT controlroom specialists. You report to the Manager Control Room.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Â
- Coach and lead a team of specialists;
- Advise the operation on the most efficient deployment of people and resources;
- Maintain an overview in the systems to ensure the process flow and continuity of the process flow;
- Communicate between the operation, mechanical partner and the customer.
- Safely start up and keep the systems running, including the Warehouse Control System and Warehouse Management System;
- Contribute to the improvement of machine and warehouse performance;
- Test new and modified equipment on system technical variables;
- Identify patterns in machine disruptions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Additionally, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

- HBO level of thinking and working;
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a dynamic logistics environment;
- Experience as a team leader and leading a team of professionals is a plus;
- Stress resistance, sense of responsibility and good organizational skills;
- Full-time availability;
- Excellent knowledge of the English language; Dutch is a plus.
