The ABN AMRO Clearing Global Head of Information Risk Management strengthens the ability of ABN AMRO Clearing to continuously meet its regulatory requirements and to service its clients out of a robust IT and Operational environment. You lead a team focusing setting the policy and advising management of ICT risks. You monitor, challenge and report the ABN AMRO Clearing ICT risk posture within a moderated risk appetite. With a focus on ICT risk, data security risk and third-party risk management. You have specific knowledge of information security capabilities, compliance and risk management. You have an understanding of related regulations and you have the ability to apply them to license-to-operate issues and opinions. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Set the example as a leader to foster a transparent and risk conscious culture.
- Set clear KPI's for the information risk department globally, in alignment with the regional CRO's.
- Ensure that the adequate monitoring and control of risks are an integral part of the risk management of the relevant businesses and within AACB as a whole.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to demonstrate compliance with requirements of the bank's risk management and to safeguard optimal co-operation and customer excellence.
- Set a vision and a strategic policy to improve the added value of information risk management.
- Is key sparring partner within AACB for information risk in translating management information into policies and define interventions where needed.
- Develops and mature ICT risk management frameworks and ensures the assessment and measurement of risk. Facilitates and manages risk processes to ensure an integrated approach, operational efficiency, effectiveness and the application of best practice.
- Develops and implements third party risk management frameworks and ensures the assessment and measurement of risk.
Furthermore, you are responsible for addressing and implementing new regulations in relation to information risk, the development of ICT control framework and setting the global risk appetite statement for information risk.
ABN AMRO Clearing is designated as a specialized business within ABN AMRO and holds its own banking license (ABN AMRO Clearing Bank NV). Globally the company consists of about 1200FTE and is largely self-sufficient, organizing its own supporting organization. ABN AMRO Clearing plays an important infrastructural role in the financial markets. As such it is closely monitored by regulators and central banks. This is augmented by the fact that ABN AMRO Clearing holds significant market shares in financial markets across the globe holding top spots in clearing on numerous exchanges in every region. We work hybrid, which in practice means that you work both in the office and at home (3 days in the office is the starting point). You will report to the Global RTO I&ORM.

• Academic working and thinking level and a relevant education at least HBO level.
• At least 10 years' work experience, 5 years of which in a risk environment.
• Experience in managing and leading teams with substantive expertise.
• In-depth expertise in the field of risk management (non-financial risk).

• Writes and speaks fluent English.
• Strong stakeholder management skills including effective written and spoken communication.

- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
