Who you are
We are searching for a Deputy Payroll Manager who will be responsible for leading, developing and supporting the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.We are looking for you who bring:
- an education in Human Resources
- a passion for and specialized knowledge in payroll, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field
- previous leadership experience or have taken on initial leadership responsibilities and are eager to develop further
- fluent in German and English is a must (written and spoken), fluent in another Swiss national language (French/Italian) is highly valued
- a good technical and analytical understanding
- a good understanding of process management
- an open mind, flexibility and desire to find new ways of working and solutions
- a strong belief in the value of collaborating in person as a team in our office, while also offering the flexibility of working from home
Your responsibilities
- Payroll Management: Supervise the preparation, processing and distribution of payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance and timeliness. Take over operational tasks to support the Payroll Specialists during absences.- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit relevant monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll related reports in accordance with global and country statutory requirements.
- Lead and support projects: Utilize your experience to lead and support various projects, ensuring successful outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with internal and external parties, and monitor, interpret and communicate new legislation impacting payroll.
- Leadership Responsibilities: Foster the development of our Payroll Specialists by enhancing their knowledge, skills and competencies. Develop yourself in your role as Deputy Payroll Manager through close cooperation with the Payroll Manager.
