Chiesi is looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the Respiratory (AIR) business unit, supporting the South‑East Netherlands region within the Benelux affiliate. What will you do?

As member of the Netherlands MSL team, you represent Chiesi in the field and you are responsible for Chiesi’s relationships with customers. You engage with medical professionals on scientific topics and Chiesi innovation, and collect medical, market and competitor insights from the field. The MSL identifies chances and takes action accordingly. By exchanging medical‑scientific information, you contribute to the optimization of the knowledge of Chiesi’s products, their indication areas as well as their position in the market place.

Furthermore, you will:

• Engage with leading local and international experts in your therapeutic area, with travel required up to 70% of the time.
• Identify, build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals and arrange for the continuing optimization of customer centricity.
• Obtain insight into the changing needs of healthcare providers and act on those needs by jointly identifying and implementing possible solutions that benefit all parties.
• Keep up your scientific knowledge and ensure that you are familiar with relevant clinical trends and developments relating to different products and our strategic indication areas.
• Translate scientific information into practices, share important data with physicians and discuss the clinical impact of that data.
• Participate in scientific congresses and symposiums and represent Chiesi there.
• Organize meetings, journal clubs, advisory boards and internal/external training sessions to share specific information.

Who are we looking for?

Someone with an entrepreneurial and creative mindset. You bring a can‑do, positive attitude and gain energy from challenges, actively looking for new and better ways of doing things, and you don’t give up easily when faced with setbacks.

You enjoy leading medical engagement in priority healthcare centers and are interested in digital innovation. You know how to build and maintain a strong network, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and are a strong team player.

Preferably, you live in the South‑East of the Netherlands (or are willing to travel daily) due to the requirements of the region.

Requirements

• Completed medical scientific education at university level and the accompanying working and thinking level, e.g. Medicine, pharmacy or life sciences.
• At least 2 years customer‑facing experience within healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry (or similar) is preferred.
• Experience with building and maintaining a network.
• Experience with project‑based work and independent project management and coordination.
• Driving license.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
