You’ll join our Product Development team to take care of quality control of the applications that power autonomous climate management in greenhouses. The products you work on are used daily by growers worldwide to make food production more efficient and sustainable.

In practice, it means you’ll:

• Analyze functionality before development to prepare the testing process.
• Coordinate building automated unit tests in close cooperation with your DevOps team.
• Build your own test scripts for automated integration and performance tests for both front‑end and back‑end.
• Not everything can be automated. Your work will include timely execution of tests for quality control with the DevOps team and end users.
• Align with business analysts, other test engineers and other team members on improvements in our way of working.

You are responsible for executing and improving our test process for AI‑driven software solution. Every day, you will design, develop, and perform (automated) tests in close cooperation with business owners, product developers and our DevOps teams, to meet the high standards of our clients and Blue Radix.

Algorithms can compensate for the lack of human expertise, because they can provide solutions to these global challenges: algorithms can actually feed the world! You are eager to improve or automate inefficient, manual processes and you feel the balance between automation and pragmatism. You have been working as a tester or test engineer for at least three years. During these years, you have developed a solid skill set:

• A degree on bachelor level with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant roles.
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills. You are able to grasp the essence of complex data structures and functionality in short time and are able to design test strategies yourself.
• Ability to execute test cases, test plans, and regression cycles, combining both manual and automated approaches in an efficient way.
• Strong API testing and backend test automation experience. Preferred: Testing in a Python environment using frameworks such as pytest, Playwright API, or similar.
• Experience with UI test automation for front‑end applications like React in tools like Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• You are eager to take initiative and share your experience in the team.
• You are up‑to‑date with the latest developments in test engineering and eager to do your research and learn.
