WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?
As Workforce Planner, your daily responsibility is ensuring the correct numbers of flexible workers with the required skills are available on time in our logistical operations. You will collaborate with colleagues to piece the employee schedule, working closely with operational departments and our flexible partners.
What does this planning entail? The employee schedule is based on our partners' forecasts. To give you an idea, approximately 1000 temporary workers are employed in our warehouses in Venray during peak periods. You will inform and advise various stakeholders primarily via email and phone, requiring proficiency in English. Utilizing data and being adept in Excel and other systems support your advice and requests. Prioritization and precision in your work enable you to furnish all stakeholders with the right information.
You will work in a team comprising two other Workforce Planners and a Workforce Coordinator. A diverse, hardworking team values your input, working together to achieve goals. Reporting to the Workforce Manager, you will operate from our offices in Venray.
Work hours span from 05:30 to 19:00 every day of the week. You will work in staggered shifts, including weekends. Naturally, these hours will not be consecutive, and as a team, you will create a quarterly schedule, accommodating preferences where possible.
- Fulfill the flexible workforce needs for the logistical operation based on forecasts.
- Create a 4-8 week plan in consultation with operations.
- Enhance the flexibility of the workforce pool through methods like job rotation.
- Act as the liaison between operations and partners regarding the supply of temporary workers.
- Conduct analyses to optimize future schedules.
- Contribute to process optimization and the evolution of the planning system.
WHY IS THIS ROLE SOMETHING FOR YOU?
- Completed vocational education (MBO) level 4, preferably in HRM or Logistics.
- A dynamic, supportive, administrative powerhouse advocating for employees.
- Proficiency in Excel and various systems.
- Strong social and communication skills, stress resilience, and precision.
- Flexibility in working hours, willingness to work weekends, and access to transportation to reach the location.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
WHER ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?
Your workplace is at one of our locations in Venray, where we have a campus of four warehouses! There you will be part of the Workforce Department, consisting of 2-3 colleagues. You will do this in a driven and professional atmosphere, where there is plenty of room for fun and connection! You report to the Workforce Coordinator and your working hours vary between 05:30 to 19:00 PM.

- A gross monthly salary between € 2.568 and € 3.512 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
