IKEA Belfast are currently seeking a dynamic Communication and Interior Design Manager.
Are you a creative and strategic thinker with the aim of delivering a new memorable experience, as well as inspiring and surprising visitors through a remarkable visual impression? In the role of Communication and Interior Design Manager, you'll be the innovative overseer of a creative team, guiding Visual Merchandisers, Interior Designers, Graphic Communicators, and Carpenters. Together, you'll craft stunning designs and bring inspiring home furnishing concepts to life!
WHAT WE OFFER
• This role offers a salary starting from £39,916 per annum, final salary offer will be made based on skills and experience.
• 39 hours per week over 5 days , including late evenings and alternate weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• You have previously been responsible for a large team of people in a creative or design orientated environment.
• You have experience in working in a design-orientated role, managing, inspiring, guiding and developing people, creative processes, visual skills, including a keen sense of aesthetics.
• You have the ability to work in a fluid, future-oriented environment developing people and expanding individuals skills.
• You take an overview of your teams work, intentionally planning to ensure work is completed whilst minimising disruption to both the business and customers.
• You have knowledge in design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• You have the ability to express ideas and opinions effectively through interpersonal and communication skills and you collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels.
• You are curious, innovative, and motivated by a vision to do things differently.
• You have notable problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly when faced with operational barriers inherent to the retail industry.
• You are inspired by people with the ability to guide, support and develop in a fluid, future-oriented retail environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Coordinate and inspire the store Communication and Interior Design team to use knowledge of IKEA home furnishing and people's life at home to grow the business.
• Be Part of the Store Management Team to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishing for all co-workers in the store.
• Be a creative leader by initiating and facilitating workshops to generate creative directions, able to follow and anticipate the consumer trends.
• Secure vitality and seasonality in the store by creating and implementing a store commercial calendar together with the store management team.
• Contribute with knowledge of people's Life at Home and consumer shopping behavior in the creation and implementation of the store business plan.
• Guide and motivate the Communication and Interior Design team to constantly take actions that exploit commercial opportunities both in the short and long term.
• You will be responsible for delivering projects across the whole Northern Ireland Market Area, working through your team to ensure projects are planned and implemented within agreed timelines and budgets.
