A day in your life with us
To lead and mobilize Home Furnishing & Retail Design (HF&RD) co-workers in global and local Home Furnishing events and to collaborate across the Commercial functions to develop and drive the Commercial Calendar and associated activities.• Responsible to secure HF&RD (Home Furnishing & Retail Design) objectives in the Commercial plan & Commercial Calendar by working together with other functions to secure alignment (e.g. Selling Commercial Activity Leader & Online Commercial Planner) through the Commercial Calendar team
• Responsible for leading the planning and designing or applying the overall concept and look for internal and external initiatives such as events, PR campaigns, product and concept launches etc, both locally and globally sourced initiatives
• Evaluate the performance of commercial calendar related activities and events during and after execution in order to identify improvement areas
• Responsible to launch country commercial calendar to vitalize the IKEA stores and bring seasonality and local relevance
• Contribute to the development of Commercial Calendar through providing overall plan for local events and HF&RD (Home Furnishing & Retail Design) specific Commercial Activities
• Contribute with supporting Shop Design activities when needed
• Contribute to improvement of the Customer Experience through home furnishing expertise and inspiration
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and to maximize impact (for example Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability, BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture)
• Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function in order to contribute to the business goals
• Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values and contribute to the transformation of IKEA
