The Customs department
Our operational customs department takes care of the customs formalities for inbound and outbound shipments for various customers at multiple locations in the Benelux.This is what a Customs Coordinator does
Operational management of the team. This means that you take care of the daily division of work, maintain an overview and provide timely follow-up.You have a good understanding of all customer and site processes and have analytical skills to function as 1st escalation. This allows you to direct team members to the right solution. To achieve optimal results, it is important that you know how to motivate your team.In addition, you can take the knowledge of your colleagues to a higher level and support them with their questions. You work solution-oriented and dare to make decisions to ensure continuity in the department. You are also the team's first point of contact for operational and planning questions. You are also responsible for time registration, and you analyze and supply the data regarding the KPI reports.
Where necessary, you will provide operational support to the team. For example, during high workloads.
