What are your key responsibilities?
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Mosa Meat's long-term objectives, with a strong focus on delivering measurable results.
Fundraising and Investments: Lead fundraising efforts to support the company's growth initiatives, achieving ambitious targets.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to optimize performance and spending, delivering accurate and actionable reports to drive decision-making.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safeguarding the company's financial health.
Leadership and Team Management: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the finance and procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and being approachable for team members at all levels.
Strategic Decision Making: Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to make strategic decisions that drive business growth and efficiency, leveraging financial insights.
Reporting and Compliance: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and presenting findings in a clear and understandable manner.
Partnerships: Lead due diligence efforts and provide financial insights during mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, driving successful integration and value creation.
What are we looking for?
At least 5 years of experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role in a technological environment, with a proven track record of delivering results.
Proven experience in fundraising, investments, and financial management, with a focus on achieving targets and objectives.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Dutch is a plus), and an approachable demeanor that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment, while being accessible and supportive to team members.
Preferably experience with IT, legal, logistics, and procurement, with a strong understanding of how these functions impact financial performance.
Preferably experience with applying for public grants and associated reporting.
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
