🥜 In a nutshell
Our People team strives to revolutionize human resources in the same way that Picnic has revolutionized grocery delivery. Picnic's central team is build up out of 1000 talented individuals spread across three main locations: Amsterdam, Paris and Düsseldorf. The People team consists of 15 People Business Partners that take full responsibility for the development and organization of everyone in the central team. As a People Business Partner you will be responsible for approximately 75 Picnic-ers.
Your responsibilities will vary from conducting reviews, working on people-related projects, and having development conversations with our teams. You’ll demonstrate an understanding of the business and act as a thought leader regarding people topics. You'll partner with a cross-functional group of experts to design and execute the strategy for how your assigned team: staffs, onboards, develops, rotates, motivates, retains, and organizes.
🎯 What you’ll do
- Drive performance and talent by conducting check-ins and bi-annual reviews with employees
- Conduct all admin-related tasks around development agreements, contracts, and compensation
- Be a trusted advisor and a coach to the leadership team and play a critical role in enhancing leadership effectiveness
- Drive people-related initiatives, provide insightful data to guide decision-making, and provide proactive solutions
- Design and improve people programs (including staffing, onboarding, learning & development and rotation processes)
- Build organizational health by ensuring that the organization is structured to achieve business objectives
- Manage talent to ensure the right people are in the right roles
- Enable business leaders to cultivate an effective leadership pipeline
⭐ About you
- Master's degree in HR, Psychology or similar
- 2 to 4 years of experience as an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, or similar
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Project management and operations experience
- Driven to challenge convention and reinvent how work is done
- Natural ability to coach and develop teams
- Ability to see the big picture and data-driven approach
- Passionate about people and able to work with colleagues of all levels
- Interested in technology and excited to learn more
- Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus
