As a Data Scientist GreenWave you will work in one of the few places in the Netherlands where you can literally look out of the window and seeing your software have direct impact. - Working together with the Product Owner and the rest of your multi-disciplinary team translate business problems to sustainable data science solutions.
- Doing experimentation to help improve the suggestions for timeslots.
- Experimenting on extending the algorithm to include other parts of the Schiphol passenger journey.
- Working with various datasets to implement models in a highly complex environment.
- Taking ownership with getting a project from PoC to implementation.
Working as a Data Scientist for Team GreenWave will allow you to make a real impact on the operational performance by perfectly align demand & capacity.
You've got this

- MSc or PhD in mathematics, physics, computer science, operations research, or econometrics.
- 3+ years as a data scientist using Python, skilled in data analysis, statistical modeling, and/or optimization.
- Experience defining KPIs, building dashboards, and data visualization.
- Skilled in deploying data products with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure or Databricks (beyond prototyping).
- Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.
- Proactive team player, able to explain complex ideas simply, detail-oriented, and collaborative

- € 4981 to € 6911 gross per month (Schaal 12).
- A 13th month (year-end bonus).
- The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
