Royal IHC is offering an exciting opportunity to join our shared service center finance as an Accounting & Reporting Officer. You will be part of the Accounting and Reporting department, and work closely with the 10 professionals within our team. We want to find a team player, someone who is able to take a fresh look at things and who is not afraid to speak up! There is always room for improvement. You are going to help us finding the bottlenecks and you will fix them! Of course with our help, if needed.
You will work in a changing environment, and be responsible for:
- realizing on-time and accurate month-end close of various organisational units and/ or external parties
- providing accurate and on-time financial analysis to enable timely anticipation on internal and external developments
- sharing your experience with colleagues
- documenting specifications of various accounts
- reporting to the Accounting and Reporting Manager
To be eligible for the position of Accounting & Reporting Officer, you must have:
- a higher vocational education (HBO) in either finance or administration
- at least two years of professional experience
- a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting system(s)
- a high level of enthusiasm
- strong analytical skills
- strong communication skills, and the ability to advice others in Dutch and English
- a precise and critical nature and confidence to challenge others
- an ability to detect bottlenecks and proactively propose alternatives that contribute to the solution
- prior experience in a project-based organisation is an advantage
