A lot is happening in the world of energy and technology. With climate change knocking on our door, smart companies are teaming up to create greener solutions. One leading partnership is driving the energy transition by combining advanced tech and engineering expertise to keep power systems reliable and future-proof. Are you ready to be part of it?
Tell me more...
Producing green energy is one thing, but getting that power where it's needed is another challenge. Luckily, this company knows exactly how to handle it. They develop intelligent energy platforms that manage electricity flow from renewable sources like wind farms and solar plants to consumers. These platforms keep the grid stable, even during peak demand or when supply fluctuates.
By combining cloud-based systems and smart grids, they enable real-time monitoring and automated adjustments, optimizing energy distribution. Their tools can predict power usage, balance the load, and reduce outages. Their innovations are essential for integrating renewable energy into the grid, helping to build a more sustainable, resilient power system for the future. Of course, to achieve these goals, they need skilled experts like you.
What will I be doing?
You test the SCADA system environment and related applications to ensure smooth functionality within the OMS project. Besides defining and writing detailed test procedures, you enhance system reliability and performance through continuous assessment. Furthermore, you validate communication between RTUs, DAN, the SCADA database, control interfaces, alarming systems, and historical archiving by conducting precise interface tests. Additionally, you create external interface test specifications, ensuring complete end-to-end system integration. Moreover, your expertise in system architecture, application testing, and Linux RedHat plays a crucial role in maintaining system stability. By driving key processes, you contribute to delivering a robust and fully tested SCADA system.
And my skills?
You have strong skills in testing SCADA systems, focusing on both the environment and the applications. You're experienced in interface testing, ensuring smooth communication between RTUs, DAN, SCADA databases, CUI, alarming systems, and historical archiving. You're also skilled in preparing test specifications and procedures for external interfaces.
Your knowledge of Linux RedHat supports your ability to perform redundancy and performance tests on SCADA systems. You can test SCADA applications, including the GUI, alarming, and manual/automatic controls. Additionally, you have experience with historical trending and generating SCADA reports. You also know how to interface with systems like OMS, TMS, PMS, Kafka, and ODIN. In addition, experience with protocol knowledge and working with databases such as SQL is important. While Dutch language proficiency is preferred, it is not a requirement.
Do they pay well?
