About this work area
As a Food Commercial Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Leading and implementing the commercial strategy and commercial calendar, as well as the IKEA Food communication and cross merchandising strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Strong customer service skills, ensuring a seamless food customer experience within all Food areas.
• Securing excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience in all Food areas and optimised levels of commerciality are achieved.
• Securing the correct competence within the IKEA Food team.
• Developing and improving the Food business by seeking and acting upon customer feedback.
• Contributing to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Food business plan, and ensuring food is connected to the store commercial calendar.
• Looking after Swedish Food Market as well as the Swedish restaurant.
As a Food Commercial Manager you have:
• A passion for food and a drive to achieve commercial success with a strategic mindset.• A strong understanding of commerciality, you can influence and negotiate effectively to position the IKEA Food function as a profitable business.
• Excellent communication skills and you can articulate and co-collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Extremely efficient time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are delivered in a timely manner.
• Experience in managing budgets and analysing P&Ls, you have a strong understanding of gross margin and top-line sales.
• A competent and strong leader, able to implement and develop IKEA processes as well as focusing on the growth of your co-worker.
