Your new role as Warehouse Team Leader

Your main focus will be on communication with your team and shift managers. You will regularly coordinate with fellow Team Leaders about daily developments and overall team progress. Another key area is managing customer expectations, understanding which processes are running efficiently, and identifying bottlenecks. Additionally, your responsibilities include: • Organizing and Coaching: Motivate and guide your team members to achieve their goals, conduct performance reviews, and support absentee and reintegration conversations • Team Planning: Ensure optimal staffing, schedule training, and maintain accurate timesheets and personnel records • Improvement: Spot new opportunities within processes, discuss them with the shift manager and business process manager, and focus on continuous improvement • Safety: Maintain safety standards on the floor • Celebrating successes with your team when customer expectations are exceeded

What DHL Supply Chain Looks for in Our New Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will elevate your team to exceed customer expectations. Through personalized coaching and performance analysis, you will oversee daily planning to ensure smooth operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize processes, identify bottlenecks, and provide clear work instructions, all while fostering your team's development. With our operations management implementation in full swing, you will have the chance to make a direct impact with your skills.  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics • Strong organizational abilities • Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus • Confidence, resilience, and the capability to lead under pressure • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Warehouse Management Systems for reporting and analysis • You'll also be joining a multicultural organization that supports diverse needs, fostering an inclusive workplace

Team & DHL Supply Chain

DHL Supply Chain is the world's largest logistics service provider. You will work in an international environment. Our Beringe campus consists of 5 sites, all dedicated to clients in the Technology sector. As a Team Leader, you will be assigned to one of these sites. You will manage a team of 15 to 20 operators and report directly to the Shift Manager.
