Communications Manager - Offshore Energy
Royal IHC's head office in Kinderdijk is looking to recruit a Communications Manager to focus on the internal and external communication and positioning of the Royal IHC brand. You will be based in the Marketing & Communications department, which comprises of eleven people and reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications. The Communications Manager is responsible for planning, developing and managing an overarching communications plan for the Offshore Energy division of the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced Communications Manager with a corporate background and a strong foundation in internal and external communications. You will also have excellent communications skills in liaising with senior stakeholders and exceptional writing skills.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
- positioning and raising the profile of Royal IHC and IHC Offshore Energy in line with the new marketing and brand strategy
- developing strategic internal & external communications plans, including their implementation, and developing existing and new channels
- translating complex technological information into clear content
- working closely and coordinating with other communications disciplines and branches worldwide
- Support sales functions with proposals and development of client documentation
As our new team member you have:
- academic higher education (master ao Communication Sciences, Marketing, Media and Journalism) and at least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications
- experience as communications professional
- ability to function independently at a high level and provide proactive input and assistance in reaching communications goals
- access to relevant networks and ability to translate complex messages into clear communications
- excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, right up to board level
- excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written
