Tasks
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of SCHOTTEL Nederland BV, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives and growth in the Engines and Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing industry.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with global branches to coordinate financial activities and ensure alignment with the overall corporate financial strategy.
- Lead the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing financial processes, and enhancing internal controls.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation.
- Proven track record in financial management, planning, and analysis
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
- High willingness to travel within Europe 50-70% traveltime
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a plus
