We are now looking for a Capability Area Planning Leader to lead the creation and optimization of the Capability area plan in one of the capability areas in Range operations. Together with the Capability Manager, Capability Architect and the Digital Product Area Manager, you will create and deliver a plan and roadmap to always deliver highest value for IKEA in alignment with the Capability area vision.
In this role you will report to Planning Manager, Therese Petersson in Range Operations, where we have the assignment to create optimal preconditions for the business and people to design, develop and manage the IKEA range offer in a connected and optimized IKEA value chain - to deliver growth and enable low cost. You would be part of a great team of planning enthusiasts with various backgrounds, work in an environment with high pace and many stakeholders, manage constant changes as well as have the possibility to contribute to the transformation of how we operate IKEA. And have a lot of fun while doing it!
Job description
The key responsibilities in this assignment will be:

Responsible for development and continuous management of the Capability Area plans in close alignment with the End to end Process, other capability areas and business functions cross IKEA companies.

Responsible for leading and keeping together planning on all time horizons for the Capability areas (short to long term) and facilitate scope definition, prioritization and sequencing work in relation to capacity and value enablement.

Lead and facilitate relevant forums according to agile methodologies and regularly communicate the status of the capability area plan to relevant stakeholders as well as identifying and maintaining the stakeholder map.

Lead the implementation of pre-requisites such as common tools and ways of working and contribute to setting OKR's for the Capability area that contribute to strategic goals.

Together with Business Performance & Support, enable monitoring, tracking and reporting on the Capability area plans and progress in relation to process commitment in the context of total IKEA Roadmap
Qualification
About you:
We believe you have deep knowledge and understanding of IKEA value chain, the process landscape, IKEA organization and the specific Capability Area. You have extensive knowledge about how to develop, define, plan and execute a roadmap to meet the business objectives together with relevant stakeholders. You have previously worked with project leadership, development of digital or physical products, are familiar with portfolio management and have a good understanding of agile/scrum methodologies. You are a fan of creating clarity through communication, working together with others to create business value and lead in a structured way. You get energy from translating strategy into action through planning, following up on progress and enabling teams to be at their best.

Strong analytical- and planning skills, tactical capability, clarity in communication.

Vast experience in product/project portfolio management or similar roles

Understanding the complexity of IKEA business and the role of data and technology as an integrated part of the business.
