Core Business Retail Concept is assigned to protect, expand, and develop the IKEA Concept and the IKEA Brand in existing and new markets. This includes sharing IKEA knowledge and learning across the franchise system.
Within Retail Concept, the Concept Description team has the responsibility of developing the IKEA Concept Description content across channels and platforms. We do this to enable co-workers globally, to understand and successfully implement the IKEA Concept consistently across all IKEA customer meeting points (touchpoints) in all markets.
We have big plans which involve new ways of developing, producing, sharing, and boosting digital content, with a strong focus on the user experience. This requires us to be more creative in our content offer and develop next level experiences which we can scale effectively.
The
Concept Description Leader
is responsible for leading strategic and prioritised IKEA Concept developments end to end. You oversee activities from start-up to roll-out of content in the different formats we use. This can be written, video production, motion design, even AI enhanced content. You build and maintain strong networks across IKEA organisations and the IKEA value chain to get great stuff done. You work closely with teams to enrich and develop future proof content by leading and securing the processes we use together with our partners.About you
You are ambitious, talented and open-minded, can deal with complex topics that run across organisations and can handle push backs. You are an energised and enthusiastic self-starter with a solid leadership approach. You can work effectively alone and collaboratively with business focus and aim to maximise impact. To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills, and experiences would be valuable:
- You have extensive experience in planning and leading bigger assignments from beginning to end, with proof of deliverables.
- Deep knowledge and experience of retail concepts and meeting customer needs in an omnichannel environment.
- Highly experienced in digital content development, related processes and knowledge of UX principles.
- Skilled in data analysis for actionable insights.
- Good understanding of franchise and value-chain set-ups.
- Excellent at building relationships with stakeholders and retail business partners.
- Experience of leading leaders and team coaching abilities.
- Independent, self-motivated and a strong team player, who's also capable of flying solo.
- Confident in leading workshops and training sessions.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
