Your workYou will join our Strategic Regulatory Change (SRC) team. The SRC team is responsible for overseeing and steering a portfolio of large-scale, regulatory programs on a daily basis and to report on the progress, dilemmas and dependencies to senior management.
In your job as a PMO Consultant you will be dedicated to one of our programs, Future Model Landscape (FML), and will support its program manager and wider (senior) stakeholders to successfully achieve the program's goals. FML aims to rationalize the credit risk model landscape while ensuring all necessary regulations are incorporated in the development and maintenance of models used for ABN AMRO's own funds calculation. Besides meeting current and upcoming regulatory obligations from supervisory inspections and decisions, the program also supports the transition towards our future data and IT architecture.
Your work includes the following:
- Assist in planning and executing the FML program, be close support to its program manager and wider leadership team
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure quality delivery according to project budget and timeline
- Maintain program documentation, including program roadmap, milestone-, dependency-, impediment-, risk registers
- Develop and maintain program dashboards and performance metrics to track progress
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and impediments effectively to internal stakeholders. Prepare recurring program board meetings
- Provide timely inputs for portfolio-level reports facing external regulatory bodies, or ABN AMRO's Executive Board
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and methodologies
- Support ongoing budgeting processes that ensure the appropriate allocation of skills and capacity to the program
- Identify dilemmas, perform analyses, draft scenarios and drive strategic decisions
You have:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in banking, specifically in credit risk and risk models. Having experience with transformative data & technology programs is a great plus
- Experience preferably in the space of financial institutions / regulatory compliance
- Relevant project management experience, preferably with a strong background in strategy or management consulting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Structured approach to effectively visualise and communicated issues and proposed solutions
- University level education or proven ability to operate at graduate level
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Professional working proficiency in English is a must; professional working proficiency (especially spoken) in Dutch is strongly preferred

- A gross monthly salary is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year
