We are seeking proactive, dynamic Business Developer with a background in data modeling. Join our team as a Business Developer and collaborate with us to shape the future of our Non-Financial Risk data platform, ensuring the delivery of reliable data.

As a Business Developer in the Non-Financial Risk Consumer Data Team, you will be integral to our data management efforts with a strong emphasis on data modeling. Your mission is to unlock the potential of our data by facilitating structured and compliant data delivery. You expertise in data modeling, will be essential in translating complex business requirements into robust data models.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and understand business needs, translating the requirements into comprehensive data models.
•    Skilled in defining and refining requirements for logical and physical data models, working closely with data engineers to ensure accurate implementation; being the bridge between business and IT.
•    Take ownership of ensuring that data is modeled to support current and future use in line with the ABN AMRO Bank standards for data management.
•    Have an end-to-end overview on the data flow, from the golden sources to the use cases.
•    Define and document metadata, analyse and resolve data quality issues, and capture governance lineage.

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 6 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

Je profiel

If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:
•    Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in data modeling with tools such as Erwin or similar.
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into data model requirements.
•    Affinity with IT/ data platform and knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Data Integration.
•    You have knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g. DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (e.g. BCBS239).
•    You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management.
•    You have interest in non-financial risk area.
•    You are teamwork-, innovation- and goal-orientated.
•    You embrace the agile way of working and you have worked in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams.
•    You've successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.).
•    You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
