We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support our Rotterdam, Haarlem, and Antwerp offices and Global Functions (Sales, Finance, and IT) of Hillebrand Gori, a company of DHL Global Forwarding with all their people processes. In this role, you play a key role in taking care of our people, helping us to be 'Employer of Choice'. You will be providing day-to-day HR support and solutions to attract, manage, develop, motivate, and retain employees to achieve business objectives in line with business needs, overarching HR plans/ policies, best practices and current legislation. You will work and partner closely with local and functional management and regional HR.
What will you do?You will support the employee journey from beginning to end, helping to drive our culture and engagement across the organization in the assigned offices.
You will support the recruitment activities for all functions (i.e. Sales, Finance, and IT). Your sharp eye will help support team managers in the setup of the vacancy text, searching and selecting talented professionals and onboarding them.
You closely collaborate with Global Functions Heads, Business Managers, and regional / country / global and cross-divisional HR Teams.
You are not shy to manage complex employee-relations issues, act as a first point-of-contact for illness and managing specific employee cases in a legal/compliant manner.
You deploy and coordinate HR policies and activities to suit immediate needs of Business Managers and employees spanning across employee lifecycle.
You facilitate delivery of employee development needs and drive employee career development initiatives.
You conduct reviews, preparatory talks, and performance calibration meetings with managers in line with defined Performance Management process.
You support change initiatives and act as change agent.
You contribute to business decision making through a solid business understanding.
You manage different stakeholders in a structured and timely manner, enable contribution from participants to achieve the desired outcome.
You facilitate workshops and calls with different audience on various talent, engagement, and development topics.
You take care of the monthly HR reporting and ensure data is updated constantly in the HR systems.
You implement the global guidelines towards the local needs.
You work with Shared Service to manage and ensure a smooth payroll and HR administration tasks processing: i.e. Arrange IND permits, 30% rulings, housing, insurances for our foreign employees as well as request for additional maternity/paternity leave and disability at the UWV.
You are the contact with our agency for personnel insurances and pension: you support information sessions with the employees as well as keeping the records up to date.

You bring previous experience partnering with the business at a senior management & executive level in a complex environment i.e. Multi country/customers.
You bring a comprehensive understanding of country specific employment laws (NL & BE) to act in line with local legal requirements, able to guarantee regulatory compliance.
You speak fluent English; Dutch at a good level is a preferred plus.
