Your role:
As a service coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating service activities for the field service engineers. You will act as the right hand to the service manager, ensuring smooth service operations by effectively managing schedules, coordinating with different departments, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your ability to handle high-pressure situations and proactively solve challenges will be essential in this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage service assignments, including both internal and external tasks.
- Coordinate with service engineers to ensure timely and accurate reporting, invoicing, and documentation.
- Assess material, part, and tool requirements for service jobs.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, clearly communicating expectations and agreements.
- Work closely with departments such as service, logistics, and engineering.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to support service planning.
- Collaborate with service engineers to create follow-up documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure efficient service execution.
Your profile:
- Technical education at mbo+ level.
- Previous experience as a service planner, coordinator, or in a similar role.
- Understanding of the daily operations and challenges of service engineers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle stressful situations.
- To be able to read technical schematics.
