What you are going to do

The role of the HR internal communication specialist requires both strategic skills and a willingness to provide hands-on support. Your work involves direct collaboration with a senior HR communications specialist and other communication professionals within the organization.

This means that you can: 

  • Develop communication strategies for company-wide HR projects and support the Business Units with their local communication rollout. Additionally, The Netherlands will be your specific area of focus for HR communications  
  • Provide communication support, aligned with our NN Group Strategy and key messaging, for the various HR projects on the roadmap, such as performance management, employee engagement surveys, vitality and compensation and benefits
  • Be the lead responsible for communicating HR topics in the Netherland, such as CLA, mobility and other employment conditions. For example, you will be in the lead for internal CLA communication and informing stakeholders during the negotiation period about the progress and the decisions made. It is important that you know how to convey sensitive topics in the right tone and can still deliver high-quality work under pressure

Who you are

  • Requires a bachelor's or master's degree preferable in Communications 
  • Five to eight years of relevant experience in project/communication  
  • Strong project support and advisory skills, communicatively strong and with the ability to work with diverse groups of people 
  • Knowledge of, or affinity with, change management (e.g., PROSCI methodology) is preferred  
  • Able to work in a dynamic and international environment 
  • Solid understanding of the wider HR workfield (preferred)  
  • Solid understanding of technology, data and analytics 
  • Fluent in English and Dutch is required

Who you will work with

The HR Strategy & Change team consists of specialists on portfolio & projects, change & transformation, communication, employee experience and sustainability. The team is responsible for building, managing, accelerating and monitoring our HR strategy. 

The team works together closely with other HR Centers of Expertise (Learning & Talent Development, Talent Acquisition and Reward), HR shared services, the broader HR Community (both NL and International), and with a wide variety of other stakeholders within NN - such as Strategy, Corporate Relations and the various business units.
