As a Team Leader CMM, you are responsible for leading and guiding a team of inspectors who work with coordinate measuring machines (CMM). You ensure that all inspections meet the highest quality standards and that processes are continuously improved. You are the point of contact for quality within your team and work closely with the Group Lead to elevate the measuring processes to the next level.
What will you do?
- Lead and coach a team of inspectors.
- Act as the point of contact for quality-related issues.
- Create an optimal working environment with the right tools and methods.
- Continuously improve inspection and measuring processes using LEAN methodologies.
- Monitor product quality and achieve KPIs.
- Conduct performance and appraisal reviews.
- Ensure a safe working environment in line with safety and environmental regulations.
- Actively contribute to improvement and change management.
Fokker Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker, is a recognized specialist in landing gear and related systems. They focus on the design and development, production and assembly of complete landing gears, as well as the repair and reassembly of systems already in use. In doing so, they work on the most famous aircraft and helicopters; think of the Apache combat helicopter, the F-35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 and the multipurpose NH90 maritime combat helicopter.
- You have an MBO+ diploma or a Bachelor's level of working and thinking.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a production or measurement environment.
- Affinity with technology and measuring systems, especially CMM. If you don’t have experience with CMM but do have a solid technical background, we still encourage you to apply.
- Decisive with a coaching leadership style.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to gain support from others.
- Experience with LEAN methodologies is an advantage.
- Good command of the English language.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime occasionally.
- A salary between €4,000 and €6,000, depending on experience.
- 8% holiday allowance, 27 vacation days, and 13 additional (ADV) days off.
- A profit-related bonus.
