Dit is jouw rolAs part of our centralised Digital department, you will support our key domestic and international customers, such as Bol.com, Coolblue, Inditex and Otto.
Your primary focus is IT system integration, ensuring seamless connectivity between customer systems, APIs and web portals with PostNL's APIs. The services we offer our eCommerce customers such as track and traceability rely on smooth data flows between systems - making it your challenge to enable this.
You will play a central role as the link between our customers, partners, account management, and our IT organization. You are the IT focal point for our key customers and you oversee the end-to-end IT integration process including designing, testing and implementing solutions. Beyond implementation, you remain the operational point of contact, responsible for guiding customers and partners through the process and handling incidents and change requests to ensure ongoing system alignment and performance.
Our Customer Integrations team is part of the ERT (Emergency Response Team) within PostNL. We play an essential role in detecting and mitigating customer impact in case of a major IT disruption. While this is part of our daily work, we also take rotating standby shifts (approximately once every two months) to address these outside of office hours (last year, this happened four times). Standby shifts and any actual work performed are compensated accordingly.
Jouw collega'sYou will be part of a young and dynamic Customer Integration team, consisting of 7 - 9 consultants, driving digital transformation and continuous customer experience improvement. As part of a team dedicated to the migration to our new APIs, You will closely collaborate with our customers - both remotely and through on-site visits - to ensure a seamless and efficient transition.
The team works hybrid - 50/50 split between remote and office. While Dutch is the primary language, you will frequently communicate in English with customers or development teams.

When customers struggle with the setup of their integration, you proactively identify their needs and offer clear, structured guidance.
Beyond technical expertise, you excel in managing commercial relationships. You balance customer expectations with business goals, communicate confidently, and navigate challenging discussions with a solution-oriented mindset. While deep IT knowledge is not required from day one, you have an affinity with IT, a strong analytical approach, and a drive to learn quickly.
You recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Preferably 2 years and maximum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role related to IT integration/migration or other IT project management, or technical support roles.
- You demonstrate strong business acumen and you have affinity with IT.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, programming languages, troubleshooting, integration techniques or middleware solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
- You have a relevant bachelor degree or higher, such as a degree in IT, information management, business administration or a similar field.
- You have affinity with the logistics industry in an e-commerce environment.
- Even if you do not check all the boxes, but can demonstrate your IT/business savviness otherwise, we encourage you to apply.
