The MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam is looking for a Painter/Caretaker (f/m/d).

YOUR TASKS
Surface treatment including pretreatment and application of coverings (wall and ceiling coverings)
Application of primer, paint and varnish layers (walls, ceilings, windows, doors, furniture)
Execution of filling work
Carrying out of all preparatory and follow-up work (moving, furniture, masking and timely restoration of the room)
Working in 2 MEININGER Hotels in Amsterdam
Ordering of necessary working materials
Product research in the area of responsibility
Development of proposals for sustainability, cost reduction and profitability in the area of responsibility
Support in the planning of painting and renovation works (drawing up lists of requirements, material recommendations)
Comprehensible documentation of the work carried out
YOUR PROFILE
Knowledge of materials and latest developments in the sector
Professional experience as a painter is an advantage
You can work independently and you are good in organizing your day
You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays and weekends
Fluent Dutch, English and any other languages are an advantage
Previous experience in hotel/hostel environment is a plus
You are willing to travel to other MEININGER entities
