DFC Execution Lead - Specialised Corporate Banking Unit 3
NJM Titel: Business Lead III (DFC) - Corporate Banking Unit 3
Hay Level: 13
Standplaats: Amersfoort; teams in Amersfoort, Rotterdam en Zwolle
Detecting Financial Crime (DFC) is the 1LOD center of expertise in the field of financial economic crime (FEC). The world is changing rapidly, and our role is evolving with it. From our purpose 'banking for better, for generations to come,' we are committed to a sustainable, stable, and safe financial system. Detecting financial crime is high on our agenda. This is nothing new to you, as you read the newspaper. You are socially involved, have integrity, and are curious. You strive for what is right for customers, society, and the bank. That's what you aim for.
Within DFC, we have consolidated all activities related to combating money laundering, terrorism financing, and corruption. By pooling knowledge, expertise, and strengths, we are better able to prevent financial crime and address new developments. Advancing technology is both an opportunity and a threat. Not only can it improve our detection work, but it also makes organized crime increasingly sophisticated. 'Detecting Financial Crime' is therefore an ongoing process that demands the utmost of our expertise and alertness day in and day out.
The function falls under the MT DFC member Execution Client Specialised. This unit, together with Execution Client Generic, forms the two operational pillars in the DFC organization.
These two departments are jointly responsible for executing the KYC, TM, and Sanctions processes and mitigating FEC risks within the KYC/CDD domain. The focus in the execution of activities is on expertise, with dossiers handled by teams with either generic or specialized expertise. The division is as follows:
• Generic expertise teams: comparable customer populations with a variety of risk triggers, requiring a broader focus and expertise. These dossiers are managed in Expertise Client Generic (ECG).
• Specialized expertise teams: dossiers focused on a specific sector, trigger, or service model, requiring specific expertise. These dossiers are managed in Expertise Client Specialised (ECS).

Way of working within Execution
Empowerment The KYC analyst teams are responsible for achieving their objectives (quality and quantity) and timely handling of dossiers with the right quality. Team members have the mandate and decision-making authority to shape their work and achieve objectives within established frameworks and goals (HOW). They do this together. The Execution Lead sets the frameworks and objectives (WHAT). More information on Empowerment can be found on DFC Sharepoint.
The support team
In our empowered way of working, an Execution lead doesn't have a formal MT. The teams under the responsibility of the Execution Lead are supported by the support team. This support team aims to facilitate colleagues and enable them to take responsibility for achieving the goals and how they are realized. The support team consists of various roles: the Team Coach (supports team dynamics, a good performance dialogue, and team maturity), the FEC Expert (the content expert), and the People Coach (coaches the individual; conducts T&B dialogues and frequent one-on-ones) and is hierarchically positioned outside the unit of the Execution Lead. They support multiple teams and can use their expertise to help teams improve every day. Giving trust is important, and team members taking ownership and responsibility are central. If teams don't act within the behavioral and performance frameworks set by the Execution Lead, the support team or Execution Lead steps in to support colleagues or teams to act within the framework. As Execution Lead, you stand for your teams, set the objectives based on the DFC Strategy, and make them concrete by attaching KPIs that apply to all teams within your unit.
