You'll be part of the Architecture & Platform Strategy (A&PS) department, working with Domain Architects who lead our IT platform designs. We emphasise platform strategies and governance, ensuring our IT infrastructure is both agile and innovative. Contribute to key technology clusters like Platforms, Products, and Data, and help shape the strategic direction of our applications and platforms.
At A&PS we work as a team. We understand that the attributes mentioned above cannot be exhibited by 1 person alone. This can only be realized when the team members complement each other. We know each other's strengths and use that knowledge all over the department to set the technology platform chart. Collaborative Architecture is our slogan!
In general, work experience and maturity on certain technology topics can be different for the team members. Each colleague is free to choose the topic of interest. Our Buddy system can contribute to close the level of maturity on topics. We take special interest in the growth and progress of junior domain architects pairing them with Subject Matter Experts.
What is created by A&PS influences architecture not just within I&T but across ABN AMRO, including subsidiaries . This requires cross department collaboration (CISO, Change Management & Collaboration, Data, CIOs) across different roles (Product Owners, Department/Grid Leads, Architects). The final result of the creations provides a great sense of achievement. It also gives you an opportunity to gain a lot of information about things happening across the organization and really be a part of IT! 😊
We have a learning path created for new colleagues to become senior architects, including from juniors to already experienced architects.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has a foundational IT background.
- Is committed to continuous learning.
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in agile and DevOps environments.
- Communicates technical information effectively.
- Eager and willing to expand their architectural expertise.
Experience in platform technology and certifications like TOGAF or ArchiMate are a big plus.
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
