Within the Tech4FEC Tribe of Rabobank we are looking for a Senior Scrum Master. You help our squads with the exciting task to protect our customers and work on the topic of Sanction Detection. Our systems and models monitor and protect 24/7 our payments streams and channels. You will be the Scrum Master for two global high-performing squads. Are you ready for this exciting challenge? We digitize and innovate FEC to protect our society, customers, and bank. As a Scrum Master you will be working with two squads, communicating in English. We believe that Scrum Masters coach their squads and area and make an impact on the bigger organization. Our Scrum Masters work together to develop the area as a whole. This includes solving organizational impediments, challenging priorities & focus and facilitating in area strategy, goals & KPI setting.

You & your role

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate and optimize Agile processes, scrum events and team work within two squads, ensuring seamless collaboration and the successful delivery of work. Furthermore, you will be part of the Area and help, with your colleague Scrum Masters, the Product Owners, Tech Leads and Area Lead to improve Area rituals and collaboration as well.

You are familiar with IT and should be able to contribute to the IT strategy of the area. You participate in the squad triangle, on equal footing with the Product Owner and Solution Architect. You act as a change agent to enable fast delivery and reliable operations for your squads. Most importantly, you coach your squadsto think ahead, act pro-actively and grow in maturity.

You coach both the squads and the individual team members. You also work closely with the group of Scrum Masters to support and develop the area as a whole. This means active engagement with the Product Owner group, Solution Architect group, Tech Leads, Area Leadand also other areas within our Tribe.

Practical examples

• Improve the alignment and collaboration on squad and area level with impact on our time to market;
• Facilitate squad and area scrum events;
• Speed up the Agile way of working (Simplify@Scale) and heartbeat.

You & your talent

You are a pro-active team player with a strong yet flexible mentality to get things done. You demonstrate the ability to persuade and inspire others while also having an aptitude for attentive listening and building connections. Additionally, you can lead by example while maintaining an independent stance. You are enthusiastic, empathetic, open-minded and you bring energy. You support the squads by educating them and helping them continuously improve their development process. You are self-aware; you know your unique qualities and how to use them as effectively as possible.

Required knowledge and experience:

• Educated at University level/Bachelors or Master's degree;
• You are an experienced certified (PSM1/PSM2) Scrum Master, with at least 3 years proven experience;
• You have experience in coaching and guiding high performance multicultural squads;
• You have experience effectively intervening in both individual and group settings to bring teams to a higher maturity level;
• You are familiar with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and solid development practices;
• You have excellent communication and mentoring skills, and you focus on the scrum values of openness, honesty and respect;
• You master the English language. Speaking Dutch is an advantage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps;
• You have preferably worked for a financial institution or in a financial environment.
• Experience with innovation teams;
