Tribe Business Lending (TBL) is responsible for product management, customer journeys, and IT delivery of financing products in the business segment. Managing a portfolio of approximately 180,000 clients with EUR 87 billion exposure, TBL ensures compliance with laws and regulations, manages credit risks, and oversees first-line ownership for business lending data and risk models. As part of the Value Chain Business Lending, the tribe plays a crucial role in Rabobank's strategic objectives. Business Lending has a significant transformation task to make customer journeys and employee journeys simpler, faster, and more efficient, while managing a large and complex stakeholder field and a highly interdependent system landscape.
You and your job
As the Lead Time2Yes Sales within the Tribe Business Lending, you will be responsible for the Sub Area Time2Yes Sales within the Area Journeys. Your key responsibilities include orchestrating the customer and employee journeys for Time to Yes Sales (all Business Lending origination journeys) and for our review process, in line with the strategic boundaries, as well as owning the end-to-end process for these areas. You will be accountable for all process changes, business process redesign, and sign-off on process changes by process management (BL Operations).As an integral team player in the Area's Management team and Sub-Area Triangle, you will execute with a forward-looking mindset and a hands-on mentality. You will inspire and facilitate high-performing teams focused on achieving results together, acting proactively with an entrepreneurial and agile leadership style. You will challenge, reflect, and coach peers and direct reports to improve performance and ownership, striving for the best results for clients, employees, and society. Additionally, you will continuously acquire outside-in knowledge on market and technological developments.
In this role, you will have hierarchical responsibility for approximately 8 FTEs. You will oversee around 10 squads within your sub area, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of strategic objectives. You will also be part of the Management team of your Area, consisting of 5 other colleagues. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Tech and Architecture departments within the Tribe, and you will also work intensely with other relevant stakeholders in the Value Chain in order to realize our strategic turnaround.
Responsibilities
Your mandate includes:
- Translate, execute and implement the strategic transition of TBL with the Area Lead Journeys
- E2E process ownership of Sales and Review processes
- Orchestration of Customer & Employee journeys (Sales/Review)
- All process-changes for Sales and Review Processes
- Develop and execute a Sub-Area strategy aligned with market and technological developments.
- Guarantee a rolling forecast including a transparent and predictable Refinement and IT backlog.
- Sufficiently allocating capacity to Change or LCM buckets in line with the prioritisation of the Management Team and Value Chain;
- Cross-(Sub) Area and cross-Squad coordination of dependencies and/or impediments including decision-making
- Ensure timely delivery of the committed value within the allocated budget.
- PDCA on the performance of Sub Area (incl. Risk, IT Security, Sales, Continuity etc.)
- Promote an Agile way of working and execution of the TBL Delivery process
- Maintain an outside-in perspective through global peer-bank relationships.

For this position, we are looking for someone with:
- Academic thinking and work level with Master degree in a relevant field of expertise.
- 7-10 years of relevant (managerial) experience.
- Business lending experience and knowledge of the sales and review processes (client-facing experience is a pre).
- Extensive experience with IT management, development processes and IT simplification.
- Extensive experience with agile working methods.
- Knowledge of and experience with building and optimizing (services) IT Journeys.
- Proven track record in complex environments (Business, Risk, Finance, Audit, Regulators).
- Understanding of CER dynamics.
- Track record of translating strategical thinking into tactical acting and implementation.
- Strong focus on operational excellence, experience with operational steering is a pre.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
This position is temporarily graded on SK A until May 2027. This temporary grading is due to the significant strategic changes that need to be realized during this period, along with the accompanying transformations for both business and technology. The grading will be reviewed after this period.
