Rabobank's IT Workplace Technical Services team sits within the banks IT Infrastructure division. The Workplace Technology Services provide support across the following service categories:

The IT Workplace Technical Services team has an opening for a System Administrator in our Sydney. You will bring your proven support experience with MS technologies & Contact Centre applications to provide Level 2 / 3 support to Rabobank staff across Australia & New Zealand & have the opportunity to participate in projects concurrently. You will work within a highly engaged team of cross-skilled individuals.
Top Role Accountabilities:
- Provide Level 2 /3 support for workstations & servers
- Provide ongoing optimisation of the infrastructure while ensuring high levels of performance & availability
- Ensure the infrastructure is insulated from unauthorised access, virus infection or any security vulnerabilities & conforms to Rabobank Standards & Policies
- Maintain the Workstation Images & patching within the Global Standards
- Identify & implement improvements to deliver cost reductions & improve service delivery
- Provide knowledgeable contributions & documentation for the server & desktop infrastructure
- Collect & understand the IT Workplace requirements of the regions users
- Work closely with various project teams globally to deliver defined project outcomes
- Log calls to external vendors for hardware & software issues
- Provide regular review, analysis & reporting of provisioned capacity, medium-long term growth & sustainable upgrade recommendations
- Provide regular review, analysis & reporting of server availability
- Create & maintain technical documentation for new installations & systems changes as required
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Ideally 3-5 years' experience in either a system or applications support role
- Experience supporting Workplace technologies across Windows systems (MS Server, Active Directory, Office 365), PaaS & SaaS applications
- Experience in supporting Voice Systems such as Genesys Call Centre
- An understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Proven troubleshooting experience
- Technical documentation skills
- A good grounding in all aspects of system administration
- An understanding of ITIL frameworks & principles. ITIL Accreditation highly regarded
This role is a Monday to Friday core business hour role, the successful candidate must be willing & able to occasionally work weekend when required.
