At NN, we are looking for a senior Project support to deliver on a key event and a due diligence process for social investments. Fluency in both Dutch and English is a must.
This is a temporary assignment for approximately 7 months, for 24 hours per week. Start date as soon as possible.
What you are going to do
This assignment is divided in 2 different activities:
- To organise the NN Social Innovation Start-Up Award: You will be organising this event, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, and Rubio Impact Ventures. Including communication about this event, aligned with CoCo and in line with the Community Investment strategy and key messages. Timely and accurate alignment with NN SIF board is required as well as budget management. It is successful if NN is positioned as a socially engaged and innovative company and if there is some media traction on the event/winners
- To further refine the due diligence process of NN SIF: You will be refining the due diligence process of NN SIF and apply that process to the potential investment in Masawa. Due diligence should include financial and impact analysis, risk assessment, and developing side letters and contracts. Alignment with and approval of the board is needed for a successful result. Communication around the investment should be included to successfully round off this assignment

Who you are
- 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry, social entrepreneurship, startups innovation and/or social impact, and in a complex stakeholder environment
- Strong analytical skills to conduct financial and impact analyses and risk assessment. Experience with coordinating side letters and contracts would be highly advantageous
- Experience in working in an international multi-cultural setting (experience at NN is a big preference!)
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different teams and functions (e.g. Communications, legal, compliance), and multiple external stakeholders including start-ups, impact investors and others to bring projects to a success
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and convey complex information to a variety of audiences
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, social sciences, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications in project management would be advantageous
- Fluency in both English and Dutch
Who you will work with
We work in a team of six people from the headquarters in The Hague. Within our team, there are two program managers for the Netherlands, a program manager for Insurance International, a junior partnership manager, and the team manager. The team supports and advises NN's Management Board and business units on how to contribute to positive change in society. You'll work in a people-centred team alongside dedicated professionals that are driven by purpose and social impact.
This team is part of the Sustainability and Social Impact team (about 25 people), which also includes the sustainability and responsible investment team. Together, we are part of the Corporate Relations department, with colleagues from Branding, Communication, and Public Relations.
