Our Forensics Business Line is engaged in a major transformation plan. Starting from local scattered IT landscapes we are heading toward a hybrid and modern standardised architecture. This journey will go through major milestones involving applications and infrastructures structural changes. Your role will be to participate to the deployment and maintenance of these new infrastructures and help our users adopt these changes as a proximity crew. More specifically you will:
- Provide first and second line support for all staff across multiple sites within Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands and UK) ---
- Be responsible for resolving support incidents, problems and service requests across a broad range of technologies
- Install, configure, upgrade and manage IT equipment: computers, printers, tablets, phones, switches, server, wireless access points, etc.
- Install, upgrade, configure and support enterprise IT applications such as Microsoft Office/365 and those hosted on windows server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and Remote Desktop Services/Citrix
- Manage, maintain and troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, Active Directory Users and Computers, O365, McAfee Antivirus, Encryption, WAN/LAN environment
- Monitor, operate, manage, troubleshoot and restore to service personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network
- Communicate professionally with users (phone, email, on-site) and promote the ticketing system
- Create, maintain and publish relevant support documentation for continuous improvement
- Maintain the IT Asset inventory and requesting and coordinating vendor support
- Actively participate in complex technical projects
- Prepare technical proposals for improvement together with line manager.
Qualifications
- Desktop deployments and builds both using RES and manual process
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS as well as various software packages including Microsoft Office and Classifier
- Strong hardware support skills, including maintenance of PC's, printers and other associated equipment
- Experience of basic Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 administration, including AD user creation, password administration, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Strong technical knowledge of: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Exchange 2010/2016, Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 10, Windows server 2008, 2012 and 2016, MS Office Suite 2010 and 2016, Security patching, McAfee AV and Encryption.
- Must have a valid driving licence
- This is a full-time office-based job opportunity including visits and physical support at multiple locations
- Fluent in English and or Dutch
- Very good communication skill and solution oriented for customer satisfaction as a goa
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 2 years' equivalent work experience
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently without supervision and request additional support when required
- Able to work off site to support users on remote sites
