You will work in the Domain Architecture Team of the Data Engineering in the Central Data Office (CDO). The Architecture team is pivotal in defining and executing the bank's data architecture strategy. This team has a deep understanding of data management principles, architectural frameworks, and cutting-edge technologies to ensure our data assets are strategically aligned with business objectives and maximize organizational value.
Your jobAs a Data Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain the bank-wide data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Advocate for data lakehouse architecture and promote its values.
- Define and establish data management KPIs, OKRs, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting integration, warehousing, and analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with the central data office and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Author and maintain architectural documents like HLD, LLD, DFD, and strategy papers.
- Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and management.
- Simplify and socialize data governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish roles and responsibilities across central and domain teams.
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and external partners to ensure data architecture aligns with business needs.
- Communicate complex data concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize data architecture performance, scalability, and efficiency.
As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future landscape of data utilization within the bank. Your expertise in Azure architecture or similar hyper-scaler cloud platforms will be essential as you design and implement robust, scalable data solutions. You'll leverage Databricks or equivalent data engineering platforms to streamline data processing and analytics, ensuring our systems are both efficient and forward-thinking.
Your enthusiasm for emerging technologies like Microsoft Fabric, serverless architectures etc. Will drive innovation within our data integration processes, fostering agile and interconnected data environments. As a Generative AI practitioner, you will play a transformative role in advancing our data initiatives, exploring new methodologies for data analysis and insight generation.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful data architecture projects.
Expertise in Data Engineering, data modeling, and software design.
Familiarity with industry leading frameworks like DAMA DMBOK, DCAM etc.
Practitioner in data management with implementation experience in Azure, Databricks-Unity Catalog, Alation, Atlan, Collibra, Purview, IDMC, or related tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Generative AI practitioner with knowledge of AI registry, EU Act, cognitive architecture, RAG agents, and XOps (AIOps).
Knowledge of banking and financial services industry-specific data regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Collaborative, approachable, and open to learning and educating.
Accountable and ambitious, with a drive for quality and a pace for execution delivery.
Ability to zoom out and zoom in based on problem statements and audience mix.
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
