Alegra Group AG is seeking an experienced OpenShift Senior Consultant to provide consulting assistance to our client in the operation and evolution of their OpenShift platforms. The ideal candidate will support the deployment and upgrade of the CaaS Telco OpenShift environment and play a key role in the introduction of HyperShift.
This role is highly focused on automation (70%) using GitOps and requires strong expertise in networking, bare metal infrastructure, and telecommunications environments. The consultant will work in a hybrid model with one office day per week (highly preferred).
Tasks
- Deploy and upgrade the CaaS Telco OpenShift environment.
- Support the introduction of HyperShift to the platform.
- Automate operations using GitOps, ArgoCD, and Ansible.
- Ensure network stability and efficiency in a telco-centric OpenShift environment.
- Work closely with customer teams to optimize bare metal infrastructure for OpenShift.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and platform-related issues.
Requirements
- Expertise in OpenShift: Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift, GitOps, and ArgoCD.
- Automation Skills: Proficient in GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and Ansible.
- Network & Bare Metal: Deep understanding of networking, telco architectures, and bare metal deployments.
- Telecommunications Focus: Experience working with telecom service providers is a big plus.
- Proactive & Solution-Oriented: A problem solver with strong communication skills.
- Location: Must be based in the Netherlands and willing to attend a weekly office day.
