Risk and Control Officer

Your impact 

You play a crucial role in ensuring continuity and risk management within Rabobank's Tech division. Tech4HR includes Future Modern Workplace (devices & applications), HR global systems and Facility Management applications. You support the Tech Domain Management Team (MT) in achieving their strategic goals through Stable and Secure by Design. You are a strategic sparring partner and a valued challenger of the Tech Domain MT and its respective MT members, contributing to keeping the Tech Domains in control.

You and your job 

As a Risk and Control Officer E&E Tech, you operate in a business-critical environment with a high degree of functional and technical complexity. You are responsible for identifying and discussing risks, promoting a strong risk culture, and accelerating specific In Control-related topics. You work closely with other DCOs and the Tech Control Officer to support cross-domain In Control topics.

Practical Examples

• You are an advisory, controlling, and steering partner of management at a tactical and strategic level regarding compliance, continuity, and (security) risk issues.
• You drive continuous improvement of our compliance, continuity, and risk management and seek alignment with other E&E Tech domains.
• You assist in implementing overarching improvements in security, risk, and continuity practices.

• Identifying and discussing risks within and outside your own domain.
• Promoting and ensuring a strong risk culture and risk awareness.
• Initiating, driving, and monitoring Dynamic Risk Cycle activities.

You and your talent

• 8+ years of relevant work experience within IT risk, specifically security and risk in general
• Strong understanding regulatory trends & changes 
• Stakeholder management; being able to act in politically sensitive environments, with different stakeholders at different levels 
• Natural attitude of looking forward and turning feedback into concrete improvements  (Complex problem solving)
• Act open to challenges and challenges others to achieve better results  (Collaborating)
• Proactive and curious mindset (Ownership)
