You and your job
The work you do will impact your team, your internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately the client servicing process, therefore the bank's core business.
You are a part of External Reporting Tribe, working on delivering regulatory reports through the new structural route. You work closely with the Product Owner and help to set the right priorities. You work in an Azure Cloud Environment, where you map and transform the data required for the data models of various regulatory reports. You are the primary contact for your stakeholders, which are mostly consumers of the data in your system.
Main Responsibilities
- Change: Requirements gathering/analysis, Data sourcing, Participating in the solution design, Testing the solution.
- Run: Leading the run activities, Monitoring the run performances.
- Data Management: Preparing data definitions, Coordinating data delivery agreements, Monitoring data quality, Ensuring data issues are resolve, Ensuring the lineage is in place, Implementing processes and controls for BCBS239 compliancy.
Practical Examples
- You understand the requirements of business stakeholders and guide the (IT-) implementation of new initiatives.
- You interact with the teams to identify the data needs both for as-is and the possible future analysis.
- You coordinate the data sourcing -if needed- and initiate the data availability issues in case of missing data at the sources.
- You participate in the solution design, taking the upcoming technical changes into account, such as decommissioning of legacy applications.
- After the change goes live, you lead the periodical run activities and make sure timely and accurate data delivery.
- You ensure the change calendar includes the necessary data management activities required by BCBS239 regulations, such as implementation of data quality requirements.

You and your talent
- Preferably a Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related (quantitative) field;
- You have 2+ years of relevant banking experience within the financial industries sector;
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills (databases, data warehouses and SQL);
- You have knowledge of databases, data warehouses and SQL;
- You have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
