As a Senior FEM Engineer, your expertise in ship (new) construction will help us create stronger, safer, and more efficient structures. Using advanced FEM analyses, you will optimize our unique designs and contribute to continuous innovation. In this dynamic role, you will work on multiple projects simultaneously, act as a key point of contact for structural analysis, and drive improvements across various aspects of our work.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analysis & Optimization: conduct in-depth FEM calculations for longitudinal strength, vibrations, and structural details.
- Ownership & Organization: manage FEM work packages and serve as the go-to expert for technical questions and project progress.
- Expert Advice: provide guidance to FEM specialists, Structural Project Engineers, and Project Managers on calculations and simulations.
- Innovation & Development: support the advancement of tools and methodologies for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: mentor and support colleagues within our FEM knowledge center, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- A salary between 4.000 - 5.250 euros;

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience as an FEM/Structural Engineer in shipbuilding or yacht construction. Experience as a Lead Engineer is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with 3D CAD software (NX, Inventor, SolidWorks) and FEM tools (Ansys, NASTRAN, Femap, RFEM). Knowledge of shipbuilding standards and classification societies (LR, DNV, BV) is essential.
- Programming Skills: Experience with VBA or Python is a plus.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English.
