De functie

In this role, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities: As a Senior Engineer, you play a vital role within one of our inspiring project teams dedicated to realizing yachts. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you focus on a single technical discipline, such as Outfit or Systems, based on your expertise.Your primary responsibility is to translate conceptual designs into production information, including engineering documents and specifications, for various technical production disciplines. This involves achieving key Engineering objectives such as Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, and Production Support.Assigned to a specific project, you will work on gathering all necessary information for specifying the yacht and ensuring compliance with applicable norms, standards, laws, and regulations. You will study and interpret the naval design package and preconditions, preparing basic and detailed multidisciplinary technical drawings and technical specifications for purchasing and subcontracting.Your approach is quality-oriented, and you plan and organize work to ensure timely achievement of goals.

Jouw profiel

Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+) related in the due discipline. Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience preferably in maritime industry and/or yacht building industry. You recognise yourself in the following competences; Quality orientation, planning and organising and communication.You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach. You are a proud and passionate teamplayer that is eager to learn.Knowledge of MS office applications, AutoCad and/or Rhinoceros. A good command of written and spoken English.
