IT Internship - Communication & Community Building

As an Intern in Communication & Community Building, you will play a key role in fostering connections, strengthening engagement, and ensuring smooth communication across our IT department. As an Intern in Communication & Community Building, you will play a key role in fostering connections, strengthening engagement, and ensuring smooth communication across our IT department. While this role sits within IT, it is focused on people, culture, and collaboration rather than technical IT operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Event Planning & Hosting: Organize and host IT-wide events, such as guest speaker sessions, networking lunches, and team-building activities.
• Internal Communication: Create newsletters, platform updates, and communication materials that effectively share key messages across IT.
• Community Engagement: Develop creative initiatives that boost collaboration and connection within the IT community.
• Knowledge Sharing & Alignment: Work closely with teams like HR and Learning & Development to drive participation in initiatives such as My Campus (Odido's learning platform) and Odido Learning Weeks.
• Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Gather insights from colleagues to refine and enhance engagement initiatives.
• General IT Management Support: Assist with the creation of presentations, content, and materials to support knowledge sharing within IT.

 Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Communication, Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, Culture Organization & Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in community building, event organization, and internal communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Creative mindset with a proactive attitude and the ability to bring ideas to life.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/events and work independently.
• Familiarity with communication tools and platforms (e.g., newsletters, social media, intranets) is a plus.
