As an integral part of our Machine Learning Engineering block team, you will be working with other MLEs to enable MLOps capabilities on our central ML platform based on user needs (Data Domains) and create clear guidelines and processes around the subject. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including data-scientists, data-engineers and business stakeholders, to ensure the stability, reliability, and security of our platform and models.
General Responsibilities
- Educating yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations on technical craftmanship
- Develop and productionise use cases with Data Scientists, automating tasks where possible i.e. Via CI/CD templates, standardized frameworks;
- Apply MLOps principles and mentality - e.g. To streamline deployment and post-deployment steps of use cases to central platforms, and iteratively improve the entire model management life cycle as a whole;
- Participate in the ideation and design of ML platform with platform engineers;
- Create guidelines and mature processes for Data Science teams to use MLOps capabilities;
- Experiment and implement new ML capabilities;
You will be part of the Dialogue Orchestration department, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of our Personal & Business Banking business line.
The team you are going to be part of, is a multidisciplinary group of ambitious colleagues working with an Agile mindset and with a focus on building and enabling hyper-personalisation use-cases for the bank. In this team we work hard, learn a lot by challenging ourselves every day, while embracing humour for a good atmosphere. Openness, transparency, quality and ownership are key values.
Your profileYou feel at home in a technical and data savvy environment and find challenge in keeping up to date with the latest technologies. You are a team player and at the same time can progress your work independently. You get enthusiastic from a creative and dynamic working environment.
Do you think you're a fit? Check your profile:
- 2+ years of experience in building machine learning based solutions, applicants are expected to have some practical experience;
- You are pragmatic and value-focused, e.g. Not afraid to work with existing solutions to reduce time-to-market;
- Programming, Python and SQL. Producing high quality Python code.;
- Software engineering, adept in software and ML lifecycle, modern engineering practices;
- You are familiar with the 'tools of the trade', e.g. Scripting tools (e.g. Bash, unix), Mlflow, Apache Airflow, Git, Docker, Kanban boards etc.;
- Experience with Cloud services and tooling, preferably Microsoft Azure; and ML platforms such as Databricks and Azure machine learning services.
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
- An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
