Waste collector

Our client is a waste collection and cleaning company based in Haelen, soon opening a new location in Grubbenvorst. The company is known for its excellent service and commitment to the Midden-Limburg region. In addition to renting roll containers and skip containers, they also have sweepers for business premises and operate two recycling centers where residents can separate their waste.

The location is easily accessible from Venlo, Horst, Roermond, and Venray.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our client in Grubbenvorst as a waste collector starting in March. In this role, you will be responsible for waste collection. You will ensure that the waste containers are properly placed so that the side loader can pick them up efficiently.

Since many residents are not yet accustomed to this system, some containers may not be correctly positioned. Your task is to spot this and make sure the containers are placed correctly. You will also leave a label with clear instructions for the residents.

Your workday usually starts around 06:15 and ends around 16:15, meaning you will be working long hours. Occasionally, you may need to work on a catch-up Saturday, but you will receive an attractive extra allowance for that.

Please note: this is a temporary position for about four weeks, with the possibility of extension.

• You must be proficient in Dutch due to safety regulations.
• This is a full-time position, but if you are available for fewer hours, we can discuss the possibilities.
• You are physically fit, as you will be working at a high pace for several hours.

• A gross hourly wage between €15.81 and €16.50, including an inconvenience allowance, depending on your age and experience.
• A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
• A coffee allowance of €2.72 per day.
• A temporary position for approximately 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension. If you are a good fit, there may also be long-term opportunities.
