IKEA of Sweden AB is looking for a legal counsel with a Swedish law degree and at least 5 years of experience working at a law firm or in-house with general business law.
IKEA of Sweden AB is the company in the Inter IKEA Group that has the assignment to determine and develop the entire IKEA product range, including products, packaging solutions and related services. Each year IKEA Core Business Range introduces 2,000 new products within the total range of almost 10,000 products.
We are looking for a
Legal Counsel, generalist
Your main responsibilities will be to provide legal support and manage legal matters within a wide range of areas. Draft, review and negotiate agreements and other legal documents. Draft and implement agreement templates and support in developing new products and technologies as well as partnerships. Evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and opportunities and provide advice on how to mitigate risk exposure and optimize business opportunities.
You will respond to legal inquiries and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues and create and give trainings for the organization within different legal fields, and internal policies and processes. Monitor the compliance with laws and internal policies and processes.
You will belong to the Legal & Governance function at IKEA of Sweden AB and report to the Legal Manager IP and General.

We want you to have:
- A Degree of Master of Laws (Sw. Jur. Kand./juristexamen) from a Swedish University.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience from a reputable business law firm and/or as an in-house legal counsel in an international legal or business environment.
- Extensive experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating different types of agreements.
- Experience within any of the fields of intellectual property, market law, sustainability, corporate law or indirect procurement is an advantage.
