Your jobAs a data analyst in the Corporate Information Security Office (CISO), your work makes the customers and employees of the bank more secure. Your role focuses on formulating and creating insights in our data needs, environment and platforms. In addition, you guarantee alignment with stakeholders, help shape the teams structure and drive knowledge-sharing and development within the team. The team works on providing bank-wide insights from strategic to operational teams and stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that data-driven insights are aligned with strategic goals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment within the team.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
As a senior analyst in that team, we expect that you are experienced with processing, cleaning, organizing and visualizing data with Power BI. It is a strong preference that you have hands-on experience with Excel and the Microsoft Power Platform. You are proficient in virtually all developer-related activities in Power BI, you have in-depth understanding, and have practical experience with Power Query, DAX, creating data models, user-friendly navigation, clear and logical front-end. You have experience with SQL and preferably Python for data transformation. You have experience with Databricks, are familiar with medallion architecture. Finally, you can set up, according to best practices, data pipelines from source to report and are able to troubleshoot, optimize and improve performance and user experience alike.
You are actively and pro-actively discussing your stakeholders' needs and priorities. Next to that, you understand and can apply various techniques to protect sensitive data and provide insights on need-to-know basis. You are curious about new features in the field of the Power BI stack, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You are able to provide feedback and advise junior members of the team on ways to improve. Alignments with stakeholders and groups are regular part of your work and you can communicate equally well with technical and non-technical counterparts.
Strategic Collaboration:
· Working closely with other departments and teams, such as CISO grids, Platforms & Technology (P&T) grids and Enterprise Enabling Data Domain (EEDD) to align reporting solutions with strategic business goals;
· Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop data-driven projects that impact the overall business;
· Ensuring that reporting processes and outputs are continuously optimized to meet changing business needs and bank's standards.
Team Support:
· Help structuring the Data Analytics team to optimize workflow, efficiency and performance;
· Mentoring team members, sharing expertise, and leading efforts to raise the overall knowledge and skill level within the team;
· Support managing the day-to-day operations within the team, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality outputs are delivered;
· Fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
You will be working for CISO Technology & Engineering (T&E). Our role is to be the central hub for security related advice and to provide security services to the CISO organisation and the bank. We have about 100 employees with different and diverse backgrounds. We are part of CISO that has over 450 employees that work on all aspects of cyber security of the bank. CISO has adopted an agile way of working where we take on challenges as a team, regardless of hierarchy. We want to be the driving force for security of the bank, our customers and society. Your profile- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Administration, Econometrics, Mathematics, or Computer Science;
- At least 5 years of experience as a data analyst, with a background preferably within IT or financial sector;
- At least 3 years of experience with Power BI, with excellent understanding of report lifecycle, governance, distribution, RLS and data consumption methods;
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI Dataflows, DAX, Data Modelling, Databricks and medallion architecture;
- Very good attention to detail and ability to create aesthetically appealing front-end;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data analyses clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

· Competitive salary, based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. Grading depends on knowledge and experience.
· The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
